Pam Cures Her Migraines

Pam had an operation by Professor Muehlberger to cure her migraines but first she was treated with Botox, as the operation will only be as successful as the Botox treatment. Dr Chris Blatchley of Capital Aesthetics works with Professor Muehlberger to give the Botox treatment before the surgery is performed.

Paul beats his migraines with Botox – the story continues

Further to my Testimonial earlier this year, here’s an update. The trigger points for my migraines had been identfiied with the Botox as in my neck. I had the operation mid July and although I had a headache for about 2 weeks afterwards I can say the results have been wonderful. I’ve a fair scar that the good Doctor also claims will fade in time but as I told him he could have remove half my face but if gave me 50% less pain I’d have been just as happy. If you’re in any doubt persist with the Botox, then consider going for the operation. I now have a life; I’m finding it strange as I still expect a bad head everyday as that was the norm. Fingers crossed and hope others have my success – Paul N, London

A note from Dr Chris Blatchley – This is a fantastic result. While the operation is not for everybody, Botox is the key, as the operation will be as successful as the Botox. Those who don’t want the operation can continue with Botox without any problems. Over 50% have a complete cessation of migraines while another 45% have such a great reduction in both intensity and frequency that they are over the moon.

Paul’s Migraines Controlled At Last

I began visiting Dr Blatchley at the Capital Aethetics Clinic on referral from Dr Muehlberger of The Migraine Centre Harley St January 2011. (Dr Muehlberger wasn’t always in the UK when I needed further Botox treatment for my migraines) I’ve suffered the debilitating effects of migraine from age 20 up to my now 56 years old. Dr Blatchley continued along the same lines as Dr Muehlberger in injecting Botox into the 3 accepted trigger points until the neck was identified as the source of my migraines. Dr Blatchley accompanied me to my next appointment with Dr Muehlberger and after further neck injections I am finally going to Germany for surgery which I hope will give me my life back. Both Doctors worked together with concern and patience for which, whatever the result, I will be eternally grateful for.          Paul N, London

Stop Your Migraines With Botox

Migraine are aweful at the best of times, and for the worst sufferers this can mean several days a month in a darkened room. With Botox treatment, up to 90% can have marked improvement and 50% have no attacks at all!

Botox is very effective for some sufferers. It was noticed by accident that sufferers who were having Botox for their wrinkles found that their headaches disappeared. The research since then has changed the understanding of how migraines start and improvements in technique mean that anything up to 90% of sufferers will get improvement while 50% will have no attacks at all. The effect wears off when the Botox wears off but sufferers who have had little respite before are over the moon after treatment. Indeed recently Botox has been given the ok by the medical establishment.

Patient selection and injection technique are both very important, and Dr Chris Blatchley can usually  here at Capital Aesthetics can usually forecast who the Botox is going to work for well.
